As for the text, I think it is helping me understand more of what educational technology is and how it is used in a classroom. I can already see how it is helping me shape my views on the purpose of technology in schools. I am going to be more student centered and focus on how to use t he technology purposefully and not just because its there. I need to be more aware of making connections between my students and technology.

I couldn't agree more, Rachel! I took the same thing away from the reading. I use a lot of technology with my third graders, but not always purposefully; just because I was excited about it! I also plan to be more student-centered, and I got a lot of good ideas and sites from the text to try as well.
